I had my exhibition opening on Friday night. It was quite fun. It's for Platform (an exhibition at the train station in Palmerston North. I had four pieces in it. Originally I was only going to put one in it - because the works aren't for sale, but I thought it would be great publicity as they were covering it in a few of the local papers. So, Andy set me up a pretty basic website with just email contact and one picture on it and I made a business card for the show. There were loads of people there and hopefully loads of people = sales and/or future recognition of my work. It turned out that I had the most paintings in the show eek! ( photo's don't count as art right? )
But a fun night was had by all. Felix and Leo thought it was awesome because trains were coming and going throughout the night. I ended up getting a bit high on the fumes it the spray painting/mural room, it was my first time and I loved it...ooh maybe I need to get a cool tagging name and go round the city being awesome...? tru dat, representin'
